DinoDoku

Privacy policy

Last updated: November 6, 2026

DinoDoku is a logic game made by Dakota Games (Nino Portella Pardini Ltda, Brazilian CNPJ 69.250.904/0001-71). This page explains, plainly, what data the game uses, why, who it is shared with and how to ask for it to be deleted. It applies to the Android app and to the browser version of the game.

Summary

What stays on your device only

Your game progress (levels, eggs, nests, cards, frames, settings and the game in progress) is kept in the device's storage. In the Android app it is also kept in the app's own storage, which is included in Android's backup: when you switch phones or reinstall the game, your progress comes back. That backup is made by Android, in your Google account, and does not go through us.

What goes to our server

The leaderboard and the progress backup are stored in a database hosted on Supabase, with servers in São Paulo, Brazil. The game sends:

DataWhy
A random code created on the device the first time the game opensTo know which leaderboard row is yours. It works like a password and is never shown to anyone.
Profile name, portrait and frameTo show you on the leaderboard.
Levels won, eggs, full nests and days in a row with a full nestTo work out leaderboard and season positions.
The days you opened the gameTo build season leagues with people who are playing.
A copy of your game progressTo recover your progress if the device loses its data.

What other players see: the leaderboard shows your profile name, portrait, frame, levels, eggs and streak. Don't use your full name or personal details as your profile name. You can change it at any time, in Profile or Settings.

Ads (app only)

Ads are served by Google AdMob. To show, measure and limit ads, Google may collect the device's advertising ID, IP address and device and app information. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Union and the United Kingdom), Google shows a notice when the app opens and only uses personalized ads with your consent. You can review your choice in Settings › Ad privacy, when the button is available in your region, and you can reset or turn off the advertising ID in Android's settings. See how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

The browser version of the game has no ads.

"Remove ads" purchase

The purchase is made through Google Play, which handles the payment details. We never receive your card number or billing details, only the confirmation that the purchase was made, so the ads can be removed. To confirm and restore the purchase we use RevenueCat, which receives the purchase receipt and an anonymous app code.

Notifications

If you allow it, the app schedules reminders on the phone itself (daily challenge, nest, stories). They are worked out and scheduled on the device, with no server. You can turn them off in Settings or in Android's settings.

How long we keep data

Leaderboard data and the progress backup are kept while the leaderboard exists, or until you ask us to delete them. Data on the device is removed when you uninstall the game or clear the app's data.

How to ask to delete or see your data

Email support@dakota-games.com with the profile name shown on the leaderboard and, if you can, your portrait and when you started playing. We delete your leaderboard row and progress backup within 15 days and confirm by email. Under Brazil's data protection law (LGPD), the GDPR and similar laws, you can also ask to see, correct or take a copy of your data.

Children

DinoDoku is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children. If you know of a child who has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.
